Current Layout
Version 9.0Name: Believe
Features: Naruto Uzumaki
Series: Naruto Shippuden
Made with: PhotoShop 7 and Notepad
Images from: Kisuki.Net
Comments: It is such a bright color layout that I rarely use! I really like the image and wanted to use it right away. Coding was a bit difficult, but I was able to make it work.
The layout is best viewed in Mozilla firefox (or Internet Explorer) with 800x600 or higher resolution. X3 Tested in Mozilla firefox, Internet Explorer and Opera.
Past Layouts
Here, you can view the layouts Captured Fragments had.
Version 1.0
Name: A New Search
Features: Mitsuki, Takuto, Mereko, Izumi, and Jonathan
Series: Full Moon wo Sagashite
Made with: PhotoShop 7 and Notepad
Images from: Temporal Princess
Brushes by: Angelic-Trust
Date: June 2nd, 2007 - September 9th, 2007
Comments: I liked this layout a lot. I really like the dark shades of blue. At first, instead of using Full Moon wo Sagashite, I went with Death Note's Yagami Light. But, I had already put the flower brushes on the layout and liked the design. I felt flowers and Yagami Light would not exactly make the "perfect" match. xD So, I decided to choose a different series. Also, a new thing I added/learned was the rollovers on the "Affiliates" part. I used ImageReady to create the rollovers. I was surprised how easy it was. Well, I really like this layout a lot and suits the first version of Captured Fragments.
Version 2.0
Name: One Wing
Features: Setsuna Mudou
Series: Angel Sanctuary
Made with: PhotoShop 6 and Notepad
Images from: Beloved Melody
Textures by: Hybrid Genesis and Aethereality
Date: September 9th, 2007 - December 25th, 2007
Comments: The second version of Captured Fragments is yet another tables layout. I really like the shades of blue. XD I actually remade this layout because the first layout looked crappy each time I went to edit it. However, I did keep the round sphere with Setsuna's wings. I really liked that. For some reason, on both the first and second versions of Captured Fragments, I always started with the site's name and then started to design around it. Hehe.
Version 3.0
Name: The Cloudy Skies
Features: Riku
Series: Kingdom Hearts
Made with: PhotoShop 7 and Notepad
PNG from: Aethereality
Textures by: FEEL
Comments: Yay, it is a div layers layout. I have been wanting to move away from tables. xD It's difficult to get these kinds of layouts to work in different browsers. This layout, overall, is pretty simple to me. Although I do wish that I had thought of a creative way to add in the affiliates on the layout instead under the navigation. ^^ Also, I did not want the layout to be stuck on the left or right of the page, so making it look nice around on the edges of the layout was a bit hard. But, I love the layout nonetheless.
Version 4.0
Name: Searching for My Love
Features: Sakura
Series: Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles
Made with: PhotoShop 7 and Notepad
PNG from: Aethereality
Textures by: Hybrid Genesis
Comments: Another purely DIV layers layout. I absolutely love the effects of the textures used. The layout overall is pretty simple, but was a hassle to code especially for IE. For this layout, there is actually no footer (bottom part). I didn't think it needed one. Also, the nice little CSS curves came from Crazy CSS Curves.
Version 5.0
Name: Don't Don
Features: Super Junior
Series: Korean Pop Group
Made with: PhotoShop 7 and Notepad
Images from: boys_paper, scanned by dorkileilafan.
Comments: I love this layout. I love Super Junior. At first, I had no idea who to feature in the layout but I had the overall design done. I went with various anime series but they did not look right. So, I finally settled with Super Junior. But it was hard to put 13 guys into one layout XD. The colors actually kind of match the first version of CF, but I tried to make it look different. Yay, for rollovers - I love the affiliates' links on the top.
Version 6.0
Name: Mirror Side
Features: Hiwatari Satoshi
Series: DnAngel
Made with: PhotoShop 7 and Notepad
Images from: Aethereality Gallery
Textures by: Hybrid Genesis
Comments: This is one of my favorite layouts using my least favorite colors. Haha, pink. It is definitely a change from the past layouts I have made. But, nevertheless, I absolutely love the effects and textures used here. The original design for this layout was very different (which in fact had no textures had at all and looked pretty plain).
Version 7.0
Name: Bond
Features: Yoite and Miharu
Series: Nabari no Ou
Made with: PhotoShop 7 and Notepad
Image from: Minitokyo
Brushes by Moargh.de
Comments: It is rare for me to do layouts other colors from blue and brown. I love Nabari no Ou and wanted to make a layout featuring Yoite and Miharu for Captured Fragments. I thought green would fit (and be a "challenge" for me to work with). I also designed it differently from the past versions, which consisted of two columns for the navigation and the content. However, this design had the navigation on top and the content underneath. The hardest and longest part was the coding. It was difficult to make it compatiable with Internet Explorer.
Version 8.0
Name: Shattered World
Features: Kamui Shirou
Series: X/1999
Made with: PhotoShop 7 and Notepad
Image from: Dokeshi Designs
Brushes by Sanami276
When I was making this layout, I had it all structured but needed an image to go along with it. I could not find the perfect image to go with it since I already knew I wanted it to be a black/gray/white layout. Then, I stumbled upon Dokeshi Designs and saw the PNGs. The Kamui one definitely stood out. I tried it out, and, try after try, I finally liked the overall design. Also, for the footer, I wanted to make it useful or at least not as plain. I absolutely love how the "fragments" turned out.
