Button Contest
Wow, it has been a long time since I hosted a contest. The last one and my first was in August 2006 or so. Anyway, I decided to host another contest because it was fun and I was thinking about it for a while. Also, this contest benefits me as well. Thanks to X-Tenshi Contest Ads for advertising.
What is the contest about? The concept of the contest is for you to create a button (88x31) for my site, Captured Fragments. There is no real theme for the contest.
Why? Because I am lazy. That is pretty much the real answer. But, I suck at making buttons and hosting a contest is kind of fun. My link-in buttons lack variety and style. I will like to see some cool buttons for my site.
What are the requirements? You do not need a website to enter, though it is preferred. The button size must be 88x31 (meaning the width must be 88 pixels and the height must be 31 pixels). It must feature an Anime or Manga series OR Jpop or Kpop artist. If you do not know which subject to use, feel free to look at the series that I use in avatars, wallpapers, and layouts. You can submit up to 3 buttons.
You can use brushes and textures, but remember the template is only 88 by 31. I am not really fond of animated buttons. No hentai or nudity in the images. It must not be a fanart either. I am also not fond of shortening the site name (eg: "CF"). Although the site name is long, I would like the button to be clear. So, please use the whole name: Captured Fragments (don't forget the s at the end of fragments). Please do not use a premade button template from other graphic sites. I want my button to be unique, if possible.
What do I get? The satisfaction of making me a button. But, seriously, I would like to give prizes to 3 winners (1st, 2nd, and 3rd). The first place winner has first choice, the second winner has the next, and so on. They can choose ONE:

- Custom layout (or any graphics request) for you by me (designed and coded at your request)
Each winner will receive the following:

- Free subdomain hosting on Unfading-Scar.Net or Yoite.Org OR free sponsoring.
Prizes are optional. You do not have take them if you do not want them. Participants will receive a participation award made especially for them.
How will I be judged? If you submit 3 buttons, you will be judged solely on each individual entry. So, it will not be judged as a collection. In a way, submitting 3 buttons gives you more of a chance to winning (maybe you will win all the prizes!). You will be judged on: color, font choice, and overall look. Ask yourself: is my button too bright or too dark? is there too many colors or too little? did I choose a boring font? at a tiny size, can the font be read? does the button look too busy or too simple? Remember, the whole contest is about a link back button for Captured Fragments.
